At MAVENS, we treat privacy as a non-negotiable architectural requirement. Our website is designed to be used without collecting personal telemetry data.
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website and in the MAVENS service is MAVENS GmbH, Gasstraße 12, 22761 Hamburg, Germany. You can contact us at hamburg@mavens.de.
2. Data processing
Page requests create technical connection data, such as IP address and request time. Sign-in, contact and review requests involve the data submitted for those purposes. Review results can contain file paths and finding locations; an authorized remote review also processes repository content.
We use this data exclusively to handle your request or provide the service you requested. We only disclose it where this is necessary to provide the service, where consent has been given or where we are legally required to do so.
3. Transactional email and third-country transfers
We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as a processor to send transactional emails. In this context, email addresses, message content and delivery logs in particular may be processed and stored in the United States.
We have a data processing agreement with Resend; third-country transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, additionally, participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Resend states a retention period of 30 days for email and log data on the Free, Pro and Scale plans.
4. Hosting
Our website and the MAVENS core service are operated on MAVENS infrastructure at Contabo in Germany. The self-hosted Supabase is part of this infrastructure and is not an additional external subprocessor.
5. Your rights
You have the right at any time to request access to your stored personal data and to request its correction or deletion. Where the statutory requirements are met, you may also request restriction of processing, data portability or object to processing.
